Peter Saw lives in
Ashby-de-la-Zouch in Leicestershire, England. He took up painting
as a hobby after working as an Electrical Engineer for over 30
years in the coal mining industry.
Peter has no formal training in art and is considered self-taught.
He taught watercolour and other media at Ivanhoe Community College
for four years; is Chairman of the Ashby Art Club; regularly
demonstrates and has taught at other local art groups; and has
demonstrated watercolour at the Artists & Illustrators Exhibition,
National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, England.
He has paintings in collections in the UK, USA and Canada.
His most recent contribution has been the exquisite creation of
the Interactive Watercolour CD, which, in my opinion, is the best
personal teaching aid that I have found. This treasure combines
written word, video clips, and animations which takes you through
every step in simple, easy to follow instructions. You have your
own personal demonstrator and teacher right in your home and on
your computer.
