For years I followed other artists, often painting from tutorials or using tutorial patterns. Finally a couple of years ago I gained enough courage to "go on my own" with ideas through playing or using photographs as my inspiration. From time to time I still enjoy pulling out a book and seeing what I can do with any given example or tutorial. Additionally, I continue to try new things......some very different from my norm. |
