Favourite medium - Watercolour

Favourite subject - As you can guess from my paintings, I am passionate about all aspects of Africa which includes animals, land, weather, and the people.

I played around with oil for a few years, but every time I looked at a water painting, my heart went 'throb, stop, throb, pong!'  One day I decided that I should try this beautiful clear, soft, translucent way of putting colour to a sheet of paper.  I browsed on the internet for direction and stopped at Peter Saw's site.  I noticed the advertised CD-Interactive Watercolour, and immediately ordered it.  The past three years I have practiced and learned and continue to try to master this medium.  Through my trial and error, I have cast more paintings in the waste paper basket than in a file, but continue to forge forward in my quest.  Regardless of level, I have found that one never stops learning and the journey to self satisfaction is never ending - but joyous.  Together with my friends here with me, and Susan Bronsak who brought us together, we travel this colourful journey together.
