Bill Gallagher, Watercolorist

My interest in art began when I was a very small child, lying on the floor with the comic section and copying Dagwood, Little Henry, and just about every other character I could find.  As time went on, I drifted away from drawing when sports and other diversions of boyhood took over my life.  In my mid twenties, I did manage to come back a little and painted about three oil paintings, and was gone again.

My other connection to art was doodling and an occasional drawing for my children, and later, Peter Saw's Interactive Watercolor CD was the catalyst that ignited my new found interest in painting.  The CD was the catalyst and the Paintdoodles and SB Friends forums were the fuel to keep the fire burning.  After six years, I am still not all that accomplished, but I get a lot of joy from painting and from the fellowship of friends like Susan, and all the others on the forums.  Who can ask for more than that!
